Defending champion Richard Gasquet on it's way to Gstaad!

The order of play of the Allianz Suisse Open Gstaad tournament was revealed today, when the Swiss tennis player Marco Chiudinelli draw the opponents. The Swiss, who is unfortunately still suffering from a knee injury, is responsible for the high profile first round match that will see Nikolay Davydenko, nr. 1 seed, confront the young Frenchman Gaël Monfils!

The nr. 2 seed, Mikhail Youzhny, is playing the Austrian Stefan Koubek, whereas the three Swiss ? Stanislas Wawrinka, Michael Lammer and Michel Kratochvil ? will face respectively the Argentinian Martin Vassallo Arguello, the Austrian Werner Eschauer and the Spaniard Feliciano Lopez.

A colourful programme awaits the spectators even though the withdrawals of Marcos Baghdatis, Juan-Carlos Ferrero and Agustin Calleri were confirmed today. However, the defending champion, Richard Gasquet, is indeed present in Gstaad after his semi-final match today against Roger Federer in Wimbledon. He will start to defend his title with a first round match against the Spaniard Ramirez Hidalgo.
